Maruti Suzuki will launch only BS-VI cars in India from January 2020

Bharat stage 6 vehicles list in India will be mandatory from April 2020, Maruti aims to meet the norms ahead of the deadline


Maruti Suzuki, the biggest automaker in India aims to meet the upcoming emission norms well ahead of the deadline. The automaker will stop making BS-IV cars in India from January 2020. This means, from January 2020, Maruti Suzuki will launch only BS-VI cars in India. Clearly, this is going to be a paradigm shift for the auto giant.

Maruti Baleno hybrid is India’s only premium hatchback to get smart hybrid tech

Baleno has been one of the main revenue generators for Maruti Suzuki. After adding a performance-focused RS variant, it’s time for Maruti to launch the Baleno hybrid. Maruti Baleno hybrid is ready to become the only premium hatchback in India to come with smart hybrid technology and it will also be the first Maruti car to comply with BS6 emission norms.
