Maruti Suzuki will launch only BS-VI cars in India from January 2020

Bharat stage 6 vehicles list in India will be mandatory from April 2020, Maruti aims to meet the norms ahead of the deadline


Maruti Suzuki, the biggest automaker in India aims to meet the upcoming emission norms well ahead of the deadline. The automaker will stop making BS-IV cars in India from January 2020. This means, from January 2020, Maruti Suzuki will launch only BS-VI cars in India. Clearly, this is going to be a paradigm shift for the auto giant.

Toyota yaris 2019 launched in India with a starting price tag of Rs 8.65 lakh in India!

Toyota Kirloskar Motors has launched ‘The Happenin’ new Yaris with 3 airbags from Rs 8.65 lakh ex-showroom. There are two variants on offer, the grade-J and grade-V optional. It is grade-J with a manual transmission which carries a price tag mentioned above. The one with CVT is priced at Rs 9.35 lakh ex-showroom. He further added. “New Toyota Yaris 2019 is built on the Toyota philosophy of QDR offering options of 3 or 7 airbags for customers to choose from based on individual needs and preferences while retaining their aspirations for more advanced features, safety, space, luxury, style, and comfort.  Powering the new Yaris is a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine. MG Hector has toppled the SUV market in India. In the month of July 2019, 1500 units of Hector were delivered. However, the British branded SUV kept the sales momentum strong and delivred another 2018 units in August 2019. MG has officially rolled out 5000 units of the Hector from its Halol plant in Gujarat. Till last month the facility was manufacturing about 2000 units of Hector per month and now the production capacity has been increased to 3000 units to meet the order backlog. There are about 28,000 bookings of Hector already lined up with about 11,000 bookings in the waitlist.
